the studio table

I thought I'd join in on the studio table sharing...unedited version (see more on Seth Apter's blog).  So many times you see pristine, styled artist studios & that's just not reality.  At least not for me or most people I know.  Some people may be neater & put things back where they belong, but I am messy to say the least.  The only reason my floor is not covered is because I haven't used any collage lately...anyway here it goes.
My studio table this morning.

I usually like to paint on the floor :)

The other side is my girls' art area....

The girls' art supply cart & stacks of their artwork.
The girls' art table that I "borrowed" today.

One of my best ikea purchases ever! Love this paint cart!
My easel & surrounding mess. I don't even know what's down there.
This is my highly organized way of storing paper for collage.

And, hidden under my table...

Hope you enjoyed my little studio tour today :)

Tomato Art Fest

"The tomato...A uniter, not a divider - bringing together fruits and vegetables"
This is the 2nd year that I have submitted art for the Tomato Art Fest  at The Art & Invention gallery in East Nashville.  This is a super fun event perfect for the entire family, complete with 5k, live music, vendors, tomato parade & kid's activities, as well as the tomato art show.  Here is what I submitted this year...all acrylic on canvas.  All will be for sale at the Tomato Art Fest this weekend!

Let's try this again...

I'm going to give the blog another try...since I last posted I have done the Brentwood Academy Art Show in December & just participated in the Franklin art crawl 2 weeks ago.  Both were great events & I was happy to be part of them.

I have updated my Etsy shop finally with lots of new artworks!  Yay!  I also have opened a shop at Society 6 (for prints, phone cases, pillows) & a shop at Fine Art America - I am trying both shops for the time being.

Really - the reason I like Society 6 is for the cute pillows I can make ;) They are so cute, you should really check them out!

Fine Art America has great quality prints & greeting cards.  You can even get prints on metal!

I hope to keep blogging about my inspiration, art techniques & other cool stuff you may not know about my paintings or art in general.
